From academic year 2017/18, schools are now required to publish how many pupils within their Year 6 cohort are meeting the national requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations. At Lobley Hill Primary School there are children out of a cohort of 49 who have achieved this requirement.

Swimming and Water Safety 2020 – Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the Authority are unable to provide the data for the current Y6 cohort of children, which includes the standard 25m attainment.  In previous years, our Y6 children would have the opportunity to complete additional sessions in order to meet this requirement.  Sadly, this year we were unable to complete the additional sessions, due to the pandemic.  We will update our website as soon as this data is made available to school.
