Science and Technology Leader
Hi, my name is Victoria Armstrong. I have been teaching at Lobley Hill Primary School since 1999. After training to be a teacher with a focus in early Years and Key Stage 1, I have spent my entire teaching career in Key Stage 2 – mainly in Year 5 and 6. I have a passion for teaching older children and enjoy devising interesting curriculum opportunities for them to meet their targets and goals; using a range of teaching styles to match the wonderful, imaginative children I teach. I love coming to school; as everyday is different and we all gain new experiences whether we are children or adults. I love active learning and employ this as often as possible within my lessons. I am passionate about developing the whole child and believe that the ethos we have in our school such as Special Person, Be the Best, Circle Time and Enrichment is the heart of our success.
I am extremely proud to be part of Lobley Hill Primary School. We are always driving ourselves forward, striving to be the best we can be for our children. As a parent of two children who attend Lobley Hill; my husband and I are also witness to their excitement and pride when they share their varied experiences. My boys are extremely active, we enjoy visits to the beach, the park, football, cricket and swimming as a family.
