Safeguarding

Lobley Hill Primary School takes seriously its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and staff in its care.

There are three main elements to our safeguarding practice:

  1. Prevention through creation of a positive school atmosphere and the teaching and pastoral support offered to children.
  2. Protection by following agreed procedures, ensuring staff are trained and supported to respond appropriately and sensitively to child protection concerns.
  3. Support for children and staff who may have been abused or neglected.
