School Uniform

We encourage all of our children to wear a school uniform. We believe it is practical, more economical, prevents competition in fashion wear and gives the children a sense of belonging. This policy is well-supported by our parents. Please label all items of clothing and show your child where they can find their name.

Our School Uniform 

  • Black school shoes, black trainers (no coloured embellishments) or boots. Velcro fasteners are helpful for Early Years.
  • Black or grey trousers, skirts or pinafore dresses (No leggings, jeans, cycling shorts or sports trousers, including jogging bottoms) Pull-on styles are easiest for Early Years.
  • Sky blue polo tops (with or without school logo).
  • Royal blue cardigans or jumpers (with or without school logo).
  • Blue and white summer dresses or black/grey school shorts.
  • Black, white or grey socks or tights.

PE Kit (Year 1 to 6 only)

  • White T-shirt/polo shirt (with or without school logo).
  • Plain navy/black sweatshirt (with or without school logo).
  • Navy/Royal blue or black plain shorts (with or without school logo).
  • Navy/black plain tracksuit bottoms and hoodie (with or without school logo).
  • Black trainers/sandshoes – If plain black trainers are worn for school, these can also be worn for PE.
  • Please wear plain clothing and avoid clothing with sports branding or embellishments.

Jewellery

  • No jewellery is permitted except for religious items.
  • Children are allowed to wear a watch, except for smartwatches (in line with school safeguarding practices).

  • The school uniform supplier is Logos Unlimited. Please access the website via this link.   
  • Please feel free to visit the store if you are unsure of size. The store is located at Unit C, Block 320, Mayoral Way, Gateshead, NE11 0RT. 
  • School does not make any profit from the sale of school uniform.

Pre-loved Uniform

  • Pre-loved uniform is available. Please contact the Family Support Worker on 0191 433 4080.
  • School welcomes donations to our uniform re-cycling bank located in the school office area.
  • Lobley Hill Primary School supports Gateshead West Pre-loved Uniform Scheme who run a 'Pay as you feel Market' every month.  You can contact them on:
