We are delighted to welcome your child to our Reception class in September 2023-24.
School Meals – The Government has agreed to provide universal free school meals to all pupils from Reception – Y2. However, we would request that you complete the link here prior to your child starting school. This completed information will ensure that school will receive funding if your child is eligible for means tested FSMs. The menu can be viewed by clicking on the school meals page to the right.
School Uniform – All orders must be made online and these will be delivered to your home address. Alternatively, you can pop into either of the two shops on Team Valley or Swalwell (click onto the Uniform page for further details). Please note that to obtain uniform for the start of term all orders must be placed as soon as possible. No orders can be accepted in the school office at present due to Health and Safety concerns. PE – Please note that Reception children do not require a PE kit until they move into Year 1.
Pupil Contact Information form – This must be completed and returned before Friday 14 July. Completed forms must be returned to karenturland@gateshead.gov.uk. School is aiming for a paper free school where possible but if you require a copy of the forms please contact school.
Permission Form – only to be completed if you are new to Lobley Hill. This form will go with your child through school. Please contact the school office if you require any of your preferences changed.
Personal Care Parental Consent – Can you please complete this form prior to your child starting in Reception. This will give staff consent to help your child change their clothing if they have an accident or if they are still in nappies or pull ups. Please click here for the form. Thank you.
